Admissions

If you would like to apply for membership, please complete our online application form and submit the $70 application fee (via Zelle, to admin@altadenanurseryschool.org). ​Once we receive your application and fee, we will send you a confirmation email with further details about the next steps in the application process.

Admissions Timeline

We begin enrolling students for the following year in March, but we welcome and encourage applications year-round.

  • For fall enrollment, the application deadline for our priority wait list is the last day of February each year. 

  • ​Visit Days are held in January-March, and on a rolling basis as needed.

  • Acceptance letters are sent in mid-March, and on a rolling basis afterwards.

We currently have availability in the Discovery Room (for ages 2-3) and Block Room (for ages 4-5), and are accepting waitlist applications for the Art Room (for ages 3-4). We strongly encourage applications from all interested families, as plans often shift (and spots open up) over the summer.

Tours

In-person tours for prospective parents are on a temporary hiatus due to COVID-19. Please attend one of our information sessions above, or reach out to membership@altadenanurseryschool.org for more information. After applying, our Membership Chair will contact applicants to arrange a Visit Day, where a small group of prospective families visit and play during a school day.
