1. Get In Touch

Please fill out this brief informational form. Our Membership Chair will reach out to answer any questions you may have. Prospective families are required to attend one of our information sessions, RSVP through the info form.

2. Attend An Info Session

Get to know the ANS community while learning about our program, co-op spirit, philosophy, and responsibilities. Zoom dates available are:

3. Attend A Visit Day With Your Child

These visits serve as your family’s opportunity to explore our school and ask questions, and for our teachers to get to know you and your child. Because of the quality of interaction we like to foster, these groups are limited in size and require an appointment. Upcoming visit days are:

  • Tuesday      May 14                 9:15 AM

 

Children react in many different ways to visiting a new place full of children playing! Please know that we recognize and celebrate children’s many different personality types and abilities.

4. Complete The Application

Once you have attended an Info Session and Visit Day and want to join the ANS community, please submit the final part of our application and the $70 application fee.  Payment can be made via Zelle to admin@altadenanurseryschool.org, or via check made out to "Altadena Nursery School".

Admissions Timeline

We begin enrolling students for the following year in March, but we welcome and encourage applications year-round. We are currently accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year.

  • For fall enrollment, the application deadline for our priority wait list is the last day of February each year. 

  • ​Visit Days are held in October-February, and on a rolling basis as needed.

  • We send admissions decisions via e-mail the first week of March, and on a rolling basis afterwards.
